Halloween

FYI, your daughter is welcome to wear a costume to class during the week of Oct 27-29th. However, it needs to be a costume that she can dance in. This includes proper footwear! Please don't send her in something that is too tight, too fragile, too long, or too hot and sweaty. Thanks!

New Baby!

Macy Jane Sackewitz is here! She was born early Sunday morning (Sept. 27) at 4:55 a.m. Macy was 7 lbs and 10 oz and stretched out to 19 1/2 inches. All is going well! Enjoy your week off. Classes start back up October 6th.

Dance shoe exchange

I have a student's grandma interested in setting up a dance shoe exchange for girls who have outgrown shoes. If you are interested, leave a comment or e-mail me (bsackewitz@hotmail.com) and I can send you to the right person. FYI, dance shoe sizes and street shoe sizes are different, so it may require some trying on.

2010 Recital Date

The tentative recital date is Friday, May 21, 2010 with a dress rehearsal on Thursday, May 20. Check your e-mail for location.

First Week!

First week went great! You all have beautiful daughters and we love teaching them. Remember to pull their hair out of their face. I'm not super strict about dress code, but this has to happen.

Dancewear Inc.

Just received note from a mom that you can get great quality ballet slippers at Dancewear Inc. (8800 S. 700 East) for $15 dollars. They are having a great sale and their staff is knowledgeable!
